Remember when you had hope and dreamed of what the future could bring for the franchise?
This was in the beginning.
The pepsi star wars special edition darth vader bottle.
I kept it as a reminder of when I really enjoyed star wars.
Before the dark times.
Before the prequels.
At least I have peter jackson.......
What is that filled with? It looks like pink & purple Fruity Pebbles.
ReplyDeleteSome time ago, a friend of mine's father owned a business that shredded plastic and recycled it into various things. The colored mess you see in there is the shredded version. The size and color variations make the product very useful for display fillings...
DeleteI like that bottle's color and design adding the classic Pepsi colors to the black and white image of Vader works so well for me.
ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty cool bottle graphic. Its simple and the design has a hand drwan look I like. I display it cause it looks cool but it was one of the first SW promotions back then and reminds me of the Fruit Loop Han promos and stuff. It was when SW was fun for me. 3 or 4 waves into the figures it got soooo out of hand it lost its appeal.....
DeleteI had a couple of those. I even was crazy and got a giant Doritos display for Phantom Menace. Wow I feel a blog about merchandise coming on.
