In Honor of the Sochi Olympics: C64 Winter Games and Nikolai Volkoff !!

In honor of today's opening ceremonies in Sochi, Russia; I offer you two of my all time favorite memories:

First: The Commodore 64 Winter Games !!

This game is one of my childhood favorites and is the reason why I know some of the National Anthems of  other counties :)

The Opening Ceremonies:

The Anthems: (Its the Summer Games II version but the music is the same)

AND of course - Nikolai Volkoff sings the Russian National Anthem, then the Iron Sheik lets the crowd have it !!

Classic !!!

  1. Never played the game however very familiar with Volkoff. I think the highlight of his career was vs. Hogan on SNME.
